Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1998, The Platters were the first rock and roll group to have a Top Ten album in America. Now, backed by a great band, The Platters’ unique sound remains one of the most recognisable in popular music history.
