Formed by former ELO members Kelly Groucutt, Mik Kaminski (Violinski) and Louis Clark (Hooked On Classics) and former ELO Part II members Eric Troyer, Phil Bates and Gordon Townsend, The Orchestra have performed to sell-out audiences from New York’s Carnegie Hall to London’s Royal Albert Hall and theatres and venues in over 50 countries. Now The Orchestra’s infectious brand of orchestral rock is back on the road and back in Buxton after their incredible December 2008 Opera House performance, as part of their Greatest Hits tour, dedicated to the memory of Kelly Groucutt, who passed away in February of this year.
Come and here the real people do the real hits, including Mr Blue Sky, Evil Woman, Turn To Stone, Xanadu, Sweet Talkin’ Woman, Telephone Line, Wild West Hero, Hold On Tight and the rock anthem Don’t Bring Me Down.
