This Gala Concert to open the Festival features the music of both the giants of British musical theatre of the 1930s. Featuring songs from Ivor Novello’s Perchance to Dream, Noel Coward’s Bitter Sweet and many other enduring favourites, including Ivor’s My Dearest Dear, And Her Mother Came Too and We’ll Gather Lilacs and Noel’s A Room With A View, Mad Dogs & Englishmen and Dance Little Lady.
