Five times finalists in the BBC Choir of the Year competition, the 100 young singing stars of the Kinder Choirs, under Choir Director Joyce Ellis, once again light up a summer night at the Opera House with their youthful vitality and vocal skills. Over 2 decades, the Kinder Choirs have gained an enviable reputation and profile, appearing on both BBC and Granada in Songs of Praise, Celebration of Christmas, Lent in The Park, My Favourite Hymns and Friday Night is Music Night, as well as sharing the platform with the London Symphony and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestras and Opera North.
