Bob Marley was a Jamaican singer, guitarist, songwriter and activist. He is the most widely known performer of reggae music in the world, and is regarded by many as a prophet of the Rastafari Movement. Now, the 9-piece band Zion brings you a phenomenal tribute to Bob Marley, capturing all the power and energy, and re-living the magic of all of Bob Marley’s hits. I Shot the Sheriff, No Woman, No Cry, Three Little Birds, Exodus, Could You Be Loved, Jammin’, Redemption Song, One Love, and many more are recreated in a concert that will remind you of Marley’s greatness. Lee’s singing and acting talents came to national prominence in 2007 as winner of BBC One’s Any Dream Will Do and since then he hasn’t looked back! Taking on the role of Joseph in the West End he won critical acclaim and further acting/singing roles – he has recently taken over the Wicked role of Fiyero – alongside which he is now pursuing a solo singing career. Jaleo are back with a compelling new insight into their flamboyant and magical flamenco world of Andalusian dance, song and guitar. The company is joined by new dancers including sensational award-winning new star Mª José León, whose charismatic stage presence, vibrant choreography and stunning technique have won the admiration of the public and praise of the flamenco critics. She has also been a source of inspiration for other dancers of her generation.
Fusing the essential elements of flamenco with their own inimitable and charismatic brand of Spanish passion and emotion, Jaleo unleash the raw energy and sensuous rhythms inherent within flamenco.
