Echo & The Bunnymen, headed by vocalist Ian McCulloch and guitarist Will Sergeant, were one of the most original and influential bands of the 1980s. With albums including Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine and Ocean Rain and singles including The Cutter, The Killing Moon, Silver and Seven Seas, they mined a rich vein of poetic songwriting and spearheaded a new Mersey sound that continues to inspire musicians today.
