The wonderful Brazilian singer-songwriter, Mônica Vasconcelos, is a true phenomenon. Since she moved to the UK over a decade ago, she has established a reputation as one of the finest purveyors of samba and bossa nova this side of the Atlantic.
Back in her native Brazil, Mônica is also held in high esteem by people such as influential music producer Nélson Motta and outstanding composer/guitarist Guinga, who was a special guest on her fifth album, Gente. Read more about this event … or
The James Taylor Quartet

The band’s relentlessly entertaining tunes take inspiration from the rare-groove style funk, and boogaloo funk of the 60s and 70s and the band is, without a doubt, one of the most important jazz-pop crossover outfits in British live musical history today.
