Pam Ayres returns to Buxton with her current show, which includes material from her bestselling books, Surgically Enhanced, With These Hands and The Works, along with some new poems and stories. It’s over 30 years since Pam first appeared on the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks, and her books still regularly appear in the Sunday Times bestseller charts, and many of her poems feature in school textbooks around the world. She’s a regular broadcaster on BBC Radio 4 in programmes such as Just A Minute, Quote Unquote, Loose Ends and in her own series Ayres On The Air, the third series of which will be broadcast on Radio 4 later this year.
