Young farmboy Mort is taken by his father to be apprenticed to a tradesman, but instead ends up working in a new job, with long-term prospects – as an assistant to Death himself.
However, when, on his first mission, Mort prevents a princess from being assassinated, the whole balance of the universe is thrown off kilter and drastic methods are required to put things to rights.

Buxton Drama League, who entertained local audiences with Pratchett’s Maskerade and Carpe Jugulum previously, make a welcome return to the Discworld. Whether you’re a die-hard fan, or whether you’re new to the hilarious, imaginative stories of Sir Terry Pratchett, Mort is a must-see entertainment for all the family.
