Cambridge Touring Theatre take a merry romp through the world of magic and mystery with their robust and comical musical adaptation of King Arthur & The Sword in the Stone. Suitable for all ages, it is performed with their usual zest and vim!

With the country in turmoil, Merlin needs to find a pupil and chooses a local boy called Wart. They set off for London and Wart learns important lessons about how to be just and wise. When they arrive, the biggest competition of them all is ‘The Sword in the Stone’ pulling competition … but who will win and become Ruler of The Kingdom?

Bring your own seat (low-backed, please!) or rug. (Please note: if the weather is inclement, the show will either proceed – conditions allowing – outdoors, or will be moved to an alternative indoor venue, if one can be arranged. In either case, no refunds will be given.)

Presented in partnership with The Pavilion Gardens and with the support of High Peak Borough Council.

‘… has families rolling around their picnic mats with laughter.’
