This humorous, touching family drama about Norwegian immigrants in 1910 San Francisco follows the trials and tribulations of the Hansons, particularly the strong, caring Mama, trying to make ends meet with her husband, four children (including her daughter Katrin, a budding writer) and assorted eccentric relations.
I Remember Mama was first produced on Broadway in 1944 and in 1946 was turned into a highly successful film starring Irene Dunne.
Buxton Drama League has been entertaining Buxton audiences since 1926 with a wide variety of plays, and this production has an enthusiastic cast of twenty-one talented, local actors ranging in ages from eight to eighty!
