The Searchers (John McNally, Frank Allen, Spencer James and Eddie Rothe) return to Buxton with such classic hits as Sweets For My Sweet; Needles and Pins; Don’t Throw Your Love Away and When You Walk In The Room. With record sales well in excess of 30 million, The Searchers are as much in demand today as they have been throughout a fantastic career spanning more than 40 years. They have devised a ‘special’ solo concert for UK touring, which is highly entertaining and which has been enthusiastically and warmly received, and has guaranteed their position as regular Opera House favourites. Their fully self-contained, two and a half hour concert includes all their famous hits, plus many of their seldom-performed album tracks, B-sides and a selection of other collector favourites.
