Fish, the legendary former lead singer of Scottish rock band Marillion, comes to Buxton Opera House with a show celebrating his long career as well as from his recent album, Communion. Marillion achieved a string of hits in the mid-1980s, with singles such as Lavender and Kayleigh and albums including Script for a Jester’s Tear, Fugazi and Misplaced Childhood. Since going solo in 1988, Fish has continued to achieve critical acclaim and a hugely loyal following, and has combined his fruitful musical career with occasional moves into acting, often utilising his statuesque build to great effect.
